Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your stickie.leepatrickfreeman.dev subscription at any time with no penalties or additional fees. Cancellation can be managed directly through your Stripe customer portal.
To cancel your subscription:
- Log into your stickie.leepatrickfreeman.dev account
- Navigate to your account settings or profile
- Select "Manage Subscription" or "Billing"
- Click "Cancel Subscription" in the Stripe customer portal
- Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period
Your account and data will remain accessible through the end of your paid billing period. After that, your account will be downgraded to the free tier.
2. Refund Policy
All subscription charges are final and non-refundable. However, we offer the following:
2.1 Full Refunds
We offer a full refund for charges made in error or if you cancel within 30 days of your initial purchase. To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@stickie.leepatrickfreeman.dev with:
- Your account email address
- The date of the charge
- A brief explanation of why you're requesting a refund
Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
2.2 Partial Refunds
For cancellations after 30 days, we do not offer prorated refunds. Your access continues through the end of your paid billing period.
3. Billing Cycles and Changes
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly, yearly, depending on your plan). You will receive an email confirmation of upcoming charges.
If you wish to change your subscription plan, you can do so through your Stripe customer portal. Plan changes will be applied immediately, with any credits or additional charges prorated to your account.
4. Free Tier
The free tier of stickie.leepatrickfreeman.dev is available indefinitely at no cost. There is no automatic upgrade or hidden charges for the free tier. You can upgrade to a paid subscription at any time from your account settings.
5. Dispute and Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge through your credit card company or bank (chargeback), we reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate your account
- Require a resolution before re-enabling your account
- Report the dispute to Stripe and relevant payment authorities
We encourage you to contact us at support@stickie.leepatrickfreeman.dev to resolve any billing disputes directly before filing a chargeback.
6. Payment Method Changes
You can update your payment method at any time through your Stripe customer portal. If your payment fails, Stripe will attempt to retry the charge. If payment continues to fail, your account will be downgraded to the free tier.
7. Trial Periods
If we offer a trial period for a new subscription, your trial must be cancelled before the trial period ends to avoid being charged. Cancellation during a trial period will result in immediate downgrade to the free tier, with no charges applied.
8. Exceptions and Limitations
Refunds may not be granted for:
- Dissatisfaction with service features or functionality
- Deleted user data or accounts (unless the deletion was due to a system error)
- Changes in subscription terms that you accepted before purchase
- Charges that were properly authorized and in accordance with this policy
9. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to change this refund and cancellation policy at any time. Existing subscriptions will be honored under the policy in effect when they were purchased. Changes to this policy will be communicated via email, and you will have the opportunity to review them before your next renewal.
